As historians, Class VW have been learning about the Saxons and Vikings.
This week, the children researched 6 key Viking battles: The Battles of Stamford Bridge, Clondarf, Assundun, Maldon, Brunanburh and Ashdown. They conducted research online, making sure to only look at credible websites to source their information. Then, they produced paragraphs for each battle and presented their work creatively.
The children peer- edited their wok and thought about the different grammatical features to include.
