Thank you to the children on the School Council and Eco Council who set up the hall ready for the big book sale after school. They did a sterling job sorting all the books into non-fiction, pre-school, Disney, fiction, fairy tales, poetry, chapter books, comics, box sets and superhero books. Thank you to everyone who kindly donated books towards the sale too as it was greatly appreciated.
It was lovely to see some of the school council able to
help at the sale too and they all really enjoyed it.
Mia said “I think this has been a success”.
Harriet thought “It was good fun to help out.”
Charlie commented that “I like this – it’s getting busy”
and was happy to help others by handing bags out for all their books.
The money raised will be donated to MacMillan Cancer
Research – watch out in the newsletter for the final amount.
