We had the best week celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III in Nursery.
Along with the rest of the school, we have made Coronation crowns, decorated bunting, learnt some Indian style dancing to link to the Commonwealth, created special Coronation memory cards and enjoyed a tea party with cakes from Mrs Aldred! We enjoyed dressing up in red, white and blue, or as royalty and had fun waving to the school procession as they came past after their visit to the Church too. We also borrowed Mrs Hall's weighed bag to experience how heavy King Charles's crown is too!
We also learned about the Coronation from pictures and symbols that we talked about and from a special book and we learned the Makaton signing for God Save the King! A wonderful week of special celebrations.
