Over 100 of our Year 3 & 4 children experienced a morning of Maypole Dancing today as part of our week of Coronation Commonwealth Dancing.
We are so grateful to Mrs Pascoe, who was our School Secretary for many years, and also ran a very successful Maypole Dancing Club at school. It was quite a challenge for her to teach the children how to dance around the Maypole and wrap the ribbons in the correct pattern, and they succeeded so well, with only a few false starts & un-knotting of ribbons!
