SRH girls were crowned County Cricket Champions yesterday - the first time any school in the county has won both boys and girls titles in the same season.
The competition had 12 local winners from around Suffolk. - divided into 3 groups of 4.
In the morning our girls won all 3 group games against South Lee, Lakenheath and St Mary's to progress to the final stages in the afternoon.
In the semi final SRH beat Ranleigh by 27 runs.
In the final game SRH came up against a very strong Horringer Middle School team.
SRH batted first and scored 56 runs and defended the score brilliantly thanks to some excellent fielding and bowling from the whole team.
SRH won by 18 runs to become champions.
2 members of the team brought along some of their baking for the lunch interval.
