Our Crossing Patrol, Mrs Wright, is currently unwell and is unlikely to be back on duty until at least 17 June.  We are unable to cover with a relief so parents need to be aware that there will be no one to cross the children over College Road.
Buses are being re-routed to pull up on our side of the road.
Please can we ask that parents escort their children across the road to ensure they get safely to school.

ARTS FESTIVAL SUCCESS
What amazing and talented children we have in our school!  Despite having cancelled and rearranged the festival from Friday the children stunned us with the variety and quality of performances on the school field.
As an ‘Arts Mark’ pilot school we are proud to be able to showcase our children’s talents in this way, and look forward to this becoming a bi-annual event for the school.
Please do complete a yellow feedback card if you have comments about the event that could help us shape future festivals, we really appreciate your input.

On behalf of the Year 5 campers from the weekend we would like to thank Mrs Hopkins, Mrs Mawson, Mrs Lucas and Mr Vaughan for giving up their weekend to run this new venture on the school field.  We would also like to thank Mr Byer and Mr Duggens for volunteering too.  It sounds like the children had a great time (although the staff need another weekend to recover).

TOWN COUNCILLOR IN SCHOOL
You may have seen in the EADT at the weekend that Class JA & ES had a visit last week from the chair of Framlingham Town Council - Councillor Carolyn Youngs. The class ambassadors welcomed her to the class and explained what the class had been doing to show why they think Framlingham is a special place for all of us.
Their starting point was a mind-map which, after several discussions had led to ideas they wanted to explore.  After two enjoyable outings to the town, where they walked the town trail and did more research they produced some fabulous display boards.  Councillor Youngs was impressed by what the children had produced and said “I’ve really enjoyed my visit. Framlingham is such a special place to live”.
