‘HOODWINKED’ PERFORMANCE AT FRAMLINGHAM COLLEGE
We have tickets available for the Year 6 production of Hoodwinked at Framlingham College on Wednesday 1 July (afternoon) and Thursday 2 July (evening).  We have allocated all requests from Year 6 families and still have seats free. 
If you would like any please order them directly from the school office, they are £3.50 each.

SPORTS DAY SUCCESS & STRAWBERRY SELL OUT!
Well done to everyone who took part in Thursday’s Sports Day, it was a terrific event, with Howard being crowned as Sports Day Champions!
The Friends did a roaring trade on Strawberries & Cream, so our thanks go to them for adding to the success of the day, they raised £116 which is brilliant.

FRAM NATIONAL REMINDER…

Only 3 more days until the big social event is on, the "Fram National".

St Elizabeth’s has almost sold out of hats, and the fizz is being chilled.

A great evening of fun and entertainment with loads of stunning prizes donated by the world famous Godolphin Stables to be won.

Tickets are going fast (£3 each!), so get your babysitter booked and your money in. Don't forget to dress up, and there will be a prize for best hat.

REPORTS OUT – Friday 10 July ** change to original date**
Pupils in Reception to Y6 will now be given their reports a week later than previously notified.  Please remind your children that the reports are addressed to parents and should not be opened until they are handed over to you.
The reports are very detailed, and therefore we will not be running formal parent consultations, however, if you feel that you would like to speak to your child’s teacher about the report, then please arrange a suitable time directly with the teacher.
Nursery will be having Parent Consultations on Tues 7 July from 2.00-4.00pm and Wednesday 8 July from 2.00-6.00pm. Please sign up for a timeslot on the list outside Nursery.

THOMAS MILLS HIGH SCHOOL INTAKE EVENING – Wednesday 1 July
Just a reminder for parents and Year 6 pupils (who are going to Thomas Mills in September) that the intake evening at the High School is tomorrow night.

YEAR 6 CHOSEN LUNCH MENU – Tuesday 14 July
The menus that the Year 6 children have chosen for this date is:
Fish Fingers, Chips, Peas & Baked Beans, Chocolate Fudge Cake
All children can have this lunch on this day, and we would especially prompt the year 6’s to have this – it’s the Tuesday after camp week.

GUITAR LESSONS
Children in Year 2 – 5 wanting Guitar lessons from September should please complete the form and return it to the office by Friday 3 July.

CLUBS IN LAST FEW WEEKS OF TERM
NEXT WEEK w/c 6 July - CLUBS RUNNING AFTER SCHOOL WILL BE Multisports & Gardening (Monday), Tennis (Tuesday) & Cookery (Wednesday), Orchestra (Thursday) and Gym (Friday)
WEEK OF 13 July - there will be NO LUNCHTIME CLUBS & THE ONLY CLUBS RUNNING AFTER SCHOOL WILL BE Multisports (Monday), Reading & Tennis (Tuesday) and Gym (Friday).
This is the last week for County Music Service (Guitar, Brass, Flute & Clarinet).
FINAL 3 DAYS OF TERM w/c 20 July - NO LUNCHTIME CLUBS & THE ONLY CLUB RUNNING AFTER SCHOOL WILL BE Tennis (Tuesday).

BAGS2SCHOOL CHARITY BAG COLLECTION
The Friends are pleased to let parents know that the last Charity Bag collection raised £88, so many thanks to all those who donated bags of unwanted clothes etc.

FRENCH CLUBS NOW FULL
Mrs Archer’s French club letters (for Year 2/3) that went out last week have had a huge response, so this club is now full, she is holding a waiting list though.

YEAR 6 TO TMHS – MONDAY 13 July
The Year 6 will walk up to Thomas Mills for their Induction Day on the Monday after camp.  They should come into school as normal that day.  They will need to bring a pencil case and a water bottle.  They will be able to have a FREE school lunch from the High School canteen on that day.

LEAVERS’ SERVICE – MONDAY 20 July 9.30am
The Leavers’ Service will be held at St Michael’s Church on Tuesday 22 July in the morning at 9.30am.  Year 6 parents are warmly welcomed to this event.  Pupils in classes JA and EM will attend plus any other younger siblings of Year 6 children.

NEW APPOINTMENT
We are pleased to let parents know that we have appointed Miss Whipps as a KS2 teacher to join our team in September. 

VACANCY FOR A MIDDAY SUPERVISOR
We have a vacancy for a midday Supervisor either for fixed days per week or in a relief capacity to be called on when we have shortages. 
Rate of Pay is £6.99 per hour for 1 hour & 20 minutes per day. Full training will be given.

NEW COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
From September we will be using ParentMail, a system used by thousands of other schools to communicate with parents by email, text and an App. 
All families will receive a letter shortly from us explaining the registration process, which will be done via mobile text or email.  This will be based on the contact information you have provided the school with previously, but if you know you have changed your mobile / email since September then please give that information to the office ASAP.
