FOREST SCHOOL -NURSERY

This week we were excited to find out that we do have hedgehogs living in Robin Wood. We found some footprints in the feeding station that the children helped to set up last week and all the food had been gobbled up! We then looked at pictures of other animals footprints and compared them, as well as making painty footprint pictures using the small world animals.  We had a very busy morning bug hunting too and found some enormous slugs and  so looked at their lifecycle.

The children also enjoyed the den, hammocks, digging, water, mud painting, puppet theatre, balancing and mud kitchen too. It is so wonderful to do our learning together in this wonderful environment!
