Fantastic Fundraising of over 28000 coins for EACH!

We are absolutely delighted to announce the total we raised for EACH in our Jubilee Runathon was an incredible £651.35

See the post on the EACH website here

A massive Thank You goes out to all the children and their families, for collecting and donating all your small change - from pennies to pound coins.

All sorts of vessels were used to collect the coins in class this week from sweet jars, chocolate tins, measuring jugs, jam jars and some classes even resorted to cardboard boxes as they had so much!!

We are very grateful to Mrs Hall and the School Council who planned this event and a huge thank you to the staff and Class VWe who were involved in counting the coins - Mrs Morgan, Mrs Colchester, Mrs Mawson, Mrs Hopkins, Mrs Morgan, Miss Vaughan & Miss Elliott.

We'd also like to thank the helpful team at Barclays Bank in Framlingham who assisted with the banking of over 28,000 coins totalling £651.35

For the runathon that took place on Wednesday, the baton bearer for each class was the child who shared (or had the nearest) birthday to the Queen – 21st April.

They started with the youngest children who were led by the Year 6 House Captains in a lap around the field, followed by each year group in succession as they lined up ready to take the baton and run their lap.

Every child was smiling and laughing as they ran and were making every step count towards this special event.
