Today we enjoyed another trip to Forest School, sadly our last this term.
We were spoilt in the Jubilee theme with special crowns to make using natural materials, red white and blue wools to create a wool wrapped stick and red white and blue paints to use with feather brushes.
The hammering activity was available to make our nail hedgehogs again too. We also had a slack line to practise balancing on, and plenty of water for our digging pit where the children decided to make a pond for the ducks. The mud kitchen was as popular as ever, as was the cafe and the children also enjoyed balancing and role play games amongst the trees as well as hunting for insects.
We certainly earned our hot chocolate, fruit and biscuit at snack time! Huge thanks to Mrs Waddell, our Forest schools leader, for sharing Robin Wood and her wonderful Forest Schools experience with us.
