Today, KS2 children dressed up and took part cross-curricular activities to introduce our new topic, ‘Hola Mexico’.
The children took part in a carousel of activities which included: Day of the Dead art (using a variety of mediums), quizzes, learning Spanish, Mexican dance, geography and food tasting ‘Quesadillas’.
It was a lovely way to introduce the topic and get children enthused about the learning over the next few weeks, hopefully providing them with memorable experiences.
