The Marble Jar

The marble jar was used by Class DB as a way of recognising hard work and good behaviour. We started filling the jar in October - it seemed to take ages to start looking full. The bottom of the jar was very wide!
However, we managed to fill the jar by mid February and Mr Brook and Mrs Mawson promised us a class treat.
Mr Brook then asked us to guess how many marbles were in the jar.
Everybody in the class wrote down an estimate.
The actual number of marbles was...... 336
Robert had the closest guess and will get a small prize.
The amazing number of marbles is a reflection of the huge amount of hard work put in my members of the class.
