On Friday,
Class JT had a fantastic day learning about Italy. The day started off with
looking at different varieties of pasta which had been kindly prepared by Mrs
Gavazzi-Smith, Alessia’s mum. Next, the children cut out their own pasta shapes
and then tasted them once cooked.
The class
learnt lots of facts about Italy including the capital city, landmarks, the
flag, currency, where it is on the map and a few simple words.
In the
afternoon, the children created their own ‘Leaning Towers of Pisa’ and enjoyed
making and eating pizzas.
