Friends Open Meeting - Friday 21 October

The Friends Association supports the school both socially and financially. In the past, we have been very active in hosting a variety of events including Summer Fetes, Christmas Hamper raffles, Children’s Discos and Cake sales, we’ve also held Quiz Nights, Beetle Drives and other fun social evening events for parents and families. Our goal of course, is to raise money to go towards supporting school projects, outings and other extras for the children, and hopefully creating some fun for the children and families along the way.

An enthusiastic group of volunteers organise and run the events, and we are always keen to welcome new ideas, new members to join the committee and volunteers to be involved at events. Since Covid the activities we’ve run have dwindled, and we are very keen to re-invigorate The Friends, but we need YOUR help!

This Friday (21st October) at 2:30pm in the School Hall we are holding an Open Meeting where we are discussing how we can all take the Friends Association forward with new and exciting fundraising events for families and children. All parents are invited to attend please!

You’ll be able to meet some current committee members, hear about our work in the past and help shape our plans for the future.

If you have an interest in finding out more about the fundraising and events of the Friends committee at Sir Robert Hitcham's, and possibly getting involved, please can we urge you to come along on Friday afternoon.

Thank you, The Friends of Sir Robert Hitcham’s.
