We were delighted again to welcome Rev'd Vipond to our Visitor Worship this morning on our last day of half term, the children always enjoy the stories he shares with them.
After Mrs Picton awarded the House Cup for the week and we celebrated birthdays for some of the children, Rev'd Vipond entertained the children with his stories.
He spoke about a local lady living in the Alms Houses who turns 100 today who previously served in the Royal Navy, this led his story to Trafalgar Day and Lord Nelson. He finished the assembly with a wonderful story from 100 Acre Wood about Pooh & Piglet.
