As Theologians, class VW have been studying the Christian concept of the Trinity. At the end of the unit of learning, we explored Rublev’s Icon and considered the significance of this 15th Century painting. Many Christian’s believe Rublev was the painter to depict the concept in a unique way. We explored the symbolic nature of the colours. Each member wears blue, which represents the colour of divinity . The faces of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the same which represents their ‘oneness’.
