Last week, MB and KM were lucky enough to take part in a musical workshop run by Bassistry Education. The children had a fabulous time listening to the electric guitar and drums, learning about the chords on a guitar and how each drum makes a different sound. Some were even lucky enough to play a beat on the drums or cymbals! Reception learnt an animal song that required them to use different actions and tones of their voice, which they later performed to the rest of the school. Overall, it was a fabulous experience with many children then wanting to learn how to play the guitar or drums.
These workshops were funded through the wonderful support that parents have given to the Friends fundraising efforts this year - so thank you to all involved.
