Rev Saul Tadzaushe from Zimbabwe

This morning William Glasse (one of our governors) invited Reverend Saul Tadzaushe, who is a Methodist minister and originally from Zimbabwe, to our school to share information about his life in Zimbabwe and cultural differences.  He introduced us to the Chemhanza Mission school and showed us videos and photos of the school and its pupils.  He praised the great natural sites that God had given Zimbabwe such as the Mount Nyangani, Imere Game Park and Victoria Falls.  Saul emphasised how communities work together; fetching water was a big challenge but also keeping a fire going for food and warmth.

They show how thankful they are for God using music and songs and Saul shared some traditional African music and showed us a short dance.   He explained that at the end of the day the whole village would gather together around a fire to celebrate their lives and give thanks to God.
