Bassistry Music Workshops

The whole school have enjoyed some very interactive, energetic and fun workshops using body rhythms with the brilliant Bassistry music group.  We learnt a range of original songs along with movement and dance and also explored the drum kit, various percussion instruments covering a wide range of styles, such as Latin, African and Caribbean & Popular Music.  Every child was fully engaged in all the workshops with lots of smiling, laughter and happiness exuding from every workshop. 

Bassistry were here for two days and on the second day, there were a lot of book characters enjoying the workshops as it was World Book Day.

These workshops were funded through the wonderful support that parents have given to the Friends fundraising efforts this year - so thank you to all involved.
