Class VW investigate global Varroa Mite problem

Last week, class VW investigated the issue with the pesky Varroa mite. 

They learnt that it is an external parasitic mite that attacks and feeds on the honeybee - this has led to the death of many honeybee colonies globally. 

The children researched and addressed key questions in relation to this problematic issue and presented their work in their Learning journals.
