We started the afternoon watching Class KV performing “Standing tall” which they have been working on with Megan Peel this term and we all enjoyed listening to this.
After this we then held our exciting house singing
competition which was kindly judged by Rev Chris Davey and Megan Peel; both said
it was not an easy decision at all. Each house sang their own version of “Let
it go” and then each of the four houses chose another Disney song. Hitchams sang “Bippety, bippety boo”; Bulstrode
performed “Bare Necessities”; Mills gave a great rendition of “You’ve got a
friend in me” and the winning house Howard performed “Under the Sea”. Howard performed their version of ‘Let it go’
in the acapella style too.
Well done to all the teachers and children for the effort in
the rehearsals. The hall was resounding with the singing and every child showed so much happiness
and joy when performing.
